A Remote Center (RC) creates a platform where the participants can interact with the instructor (faculty at IIT) who is conducting the course or delivering a lecture from IIT Bombay through interactive video sessions. The Remote Centre aims for empowerment of teachers, through workshops conducted for staff members, using a unique blend of technology and an innovative pedagogy.

Workshops Conducted In Our College
  • A workshop on “Introduction to Research Methodologies” was conducted from 25-06-2012 to 04-07-2012.
  • A two day ISTE workshop on “AAKASH for Education” was organized from 10-11-2012 to 11-11-2012.
  • A two -week ISTE workshop on “Engineering Thermodynamics” was arranged from 11-12-2012 to 21-12-2012.
  • A two -day ISTE workshop on “Research Methods in Educational Technology” was organized from 02-02-2013 and 09-02-2013.
  • A two day workshop in the month of February & March was conducted on “AAKASH Android Application Programming” from 23-02-2013 to 24-02-2013 & 03-03-2013 to 04-03-2013.
  • A two-week ISTE workshop on “Database Management Systems” was organized from 21-05-2013 to 31-05-2013.
  • An ISTE workshop on “Analog Electronics – IIT kharagpur” was conducted for two weeks from 4-06-2013 to 14-06-2013.
  • A Half day ISTE workshop on “Green Building Awareness” was arranged on 24-08-2013.
  • A two-week ISTE workshop on “Engineering Mechanics” was organized from 26-11-2013 to 06-12-2013
  • A two week ISTE main workshop on “Signals & Systems” was arranged from 02-01-2014 to 12-01-2014.
  • A two week ISTE main workshop on “Introduction to Design of Algorithms” was arranged from 25-05-2015 to 30-05-2015.
  • An ISTE workshop on “Analog Electronics – IIT kharagpur” was conducted for two weeks from 4-06-2013 to 14-06-2013.
  • One week ISTE STTP on Technical Communication for STEM faculty was arranged from 30/11/2015 to 5/12/2015
